Hi There, I just received my new creative laptop and it replaces my Purism laptop. Installing my preferences is easy, but my wifi connection constantly stops and after a while it connects again. It makes installing my software difficult. The settings are the same as my Purism laptop and there the connection is perfect. It looks like this is a hardware problem?

Similar issuie here with Slimbook Creative laptop.
Summary
After updating to kernel 6.12.17-1-MANJARO, the WiFi stopped working. The issue was resolved by rolling back to kernel 6.6 LTS.
System Information
- Device: Slimbook laptop
- WiFi Card: MediaTek mt7921e
- Working Kernel: 6.6.80-1-MANJARO
- Broken Kernel: 6.12.17-1-MANJARO
- Distro: Manjaro (fully updated)
Error Messages in Kernel 6.12
After booting into kernel 6.12, dmesg showed the following errors:
mt7921e 0000:04:00.0: Unable to change power state from D3cold to D0, device inaccessible mt7921e 0000:04:00.0: driver own failed mt7921e 0000:04:00.0: probe with driver mt7921e failed with error -5
Troubleshooting Attempts
Tried manually reloading the module:
→ No effect (same errors in dmesg).
Checked power state of the PCI device:
→ It was stuck in D3cold, meaning the device could not wake up.
Tried forcing the power state:
→ No effect.
Tried rescaning PCI devices:
→ No effect.
Checked for rfkill blocks:
→ No soft/hard blocks found.
Tried disabling ASPM (Active State Power Management):
→ No effect.
Tried suspending and waking up the laptop:
→ No effect.
Workaround / Solution
Rolling back to kernel 6.6 LTS fixed the issue:
After booting into kernel 6.6, the WiFi started working normally.
Possible Cause
It seems that kernel 6.12 introduced a regression in mt7921e. The driver fails to wake the device from D3cold, making it inaccessible.
Hola, mi recomendación es que pruebes desde un LiveUSB, y si tampoco funciona, entonces deberías de abrir un ticket para tramitar la garantía de la tarjeta WiFi.

Good morning Koper,
I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems with the WiFi. I think your Creative is running Debian 12 and kernel 6.12, would it be possible to try with testing repositories? It is possible that the WiFi driver is not quite stable on this version.
Try also, as Antonio told you, with a Slimbook OS Live USB.

Best regards,
Good afternoon,
Yes, the same thing has happened to us with Manjaro, it seems that with the new kernel something is not working quite right.
In principle if you reinstall the system seems to remain stable, but if not the solution is to downgrade to kernel 6.6.
Best regards,
Don't worry, there is no need to close anything.
We leave it like this in case more customers want to see it.
