Hi,
I have noticed that my battery drains after I put the laptop to sleep, as if a process was still running or it was not really asleep.
I am running Pop OS 22.04.
I wonder if this could be related to hibernation not being enabled ? But I assume normal suspension should still work ?
Any suggestions are welcome,
Thanks

I may have found a difference, pressing Fn + F1 turns off the screen but does not appear to suspend the laptop, whilst directly suspending it in software does give the expected suspension with roughly 1% drain per hour.
Hello emmu,
Could you tell us how much battery drain are you experiencing? Our tests shows roughly 1% per hour.
Best regards.
Thanks, I will look into updating to 24.04 Cosmic Alpha and see if that helps :)
It's hard to monitor the battery drain when the laptop is asleep, but in terms of "feel" I assume it's as if all the applications running in the foreground kept running, battery drains at a normal pace (web browser open, various applications, around 40% RAM used) until the laptop powers off.
Good afternoon,
Yes, Cosmic is the environment, I forgot to put Pop OS 24.04 Cosmic Alpha version, sorry.
Can you specify how much battery drain and in how many hours?
Best regards,
